About the role
The Cybersecurity Engineer MSSP is responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance and operational support of cybersecurity solutions in customer and internal environments, playing a key role within Delta Protect's MSSP model. In addition to implementing security solutions such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, MDM, and endpoint and mail protection tools, this profile assumes the management of technical requirements under Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including execution of planned changes, proactive and reactive support, and continuous improvements to protected environments.
This engineer acts as an intermediate point between the technical operation (SOC) and the client's needs, ensuring the stability, effectiveness and compliance of the security controls deployed.
Your main challenges
- Implement security solutions (SIEM, EDR/XDR, MDM, SOAR, etc.) in internal and customer environments according to specific requirements and under SLA.
- Execute technical onboarding processes for new customers, ensuring secure and functional base configurations.
- Analyze and execute technical requirements coming from customers (changes, new integrations, alert adjustments) within established maintenance windows and SLAs.
- Configure and maintain correlation rules, automation flows, dashboards and custom reports in SIEM and SOAR platforms.
- Document technical processes, configurations made, and changes implemented in ITSM tools or internal repositories.
- Provide second level technical support on implemented solutions, collaborating with SOC analysts and incident response teams.
- Manage controlled changes and updates to the security infrastructure (patches, new versions, policy modifications).
- Actively participate in service reviews with customers (incident review, configuration adjustments, technical roadmap).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of MSSP playbooks, templates, technical guides and operating procedures.
- Align all technical actions to Delta Protect's ISMS and ensure their correct application during daily operation.
What you need to be successful
Technical experience required:
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity solutions:
- SIEM (ideally Google SecOps)
- EDR/XDR (SentinelOne)
- MDM (JumpCloud)
- Email security (Proofpoint)
- Patching and vulnerability management tools (such as Vicarius or similar)
- Experience as a technical implementer or MSSP engineer, with the ability to handle multiple clients and environments simultaneously.
- Solid knowledge of networks and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, NAT, etc.), with experience in connectivity troubleshooting, segmentation, and traffic analysis.
- Operational knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, and fundamentals of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure).
- Familiarity with ticketing tools and ITIL flows: change, incident and requirements management.
- Desirable: basic scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell or Python) for task automation.
- High willingness to learn new technologies: self-learning skills and interest in keeping up to date with new solutions in the security stack of Delta Protect and its customers is a plus.

Desirable Certifications
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
- Microsoft, Linux or Cloud Fundamentals.
- Certifications specific to the platforms operated (e.g. SentinelOne Certified Admin, JumpCloud Core, Google Secops SIEM).
- Intermediate level certifications: CompTIA CySA+, Azure/AWS Security Specialty, CSA STAR, ITIL Foundation.
- MSSP or SOC certification (e.g. Blue Team Level 1, EC-Council ECSA, etc.).
- Networking certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+)
